A rare low-mileage family camper, priced to move at $47,500 — comparable converted 2019 ProMasters are listing at $60,000+, most with three to five times the miles. With just 12,899 miles, this one’s barely broken in.
This is a 2019 ProMaster 2500 high-roof extended-body (159″ wheelbase ext) — the most sought-after size for a conversion — built out into a genuinely livable camper that sleeps a family of four. The expensive, time-consuming part is already done, and there’s a near-new van underneath it.
Powered by the 3.6L Pentastar V6 gas engine (280 hp) — no diesel maintenance headaches, and well under the mileage where ProMasters typically need major service. Parts and service available anywhere.

About the build
I converted this van myself and put real care into it — solid systems, a smart family layout, and quality materials throughout. It’s a DIY build with its own character, and there’s room for an owner to add personal finishing touches if they’d like. You’re getting a sleeps-four, full-wet-bath, ultra-low-mileage extended ProMaster for the price of a higher-mileage couples’ build. Everything works and it’s road-ready today.
Rare low miles, real family functionality, ready for the next adventure. Serious inquiries welcome — Reston, VA, easy access to the DC metro area.
QUICK ANSWERS (the top 5)
1. Why are you selling?
Kids are older, and between their extracurricular activities and our careers we just never seem to have time to go on Van adventures anymore – sadly.
2. What condition is it in — anything not working?
Everything is functional and road-ready. It’s a self-built conversion with quality materials and a smart family layout; cosmetic touch-ups are the main opportunity for a new owner.
Recent updates: new starter battery · brand-new refrigerator · brand-new, never-used toilet · current Virginia state safety inspection.
3. Is the title clean, and what’s the inspection status?
Clean title, held free and clear, ready to transfer. Current Virginia state safety inspection; still needs its emissions test (required in Fairfax County) — a straightforward test given the low mileage.
4. Is it four-season, and how’s the power/water?
Dometic rooftop A/C for cooling; heat was a Webasto but since removed (it never worked very well). Hardwired Renogy electrical (house battery, solar and Renogy BT monitor) and a full wet bathroom.
5. Can I come see it or get an inspection?
Yes — located in Reston, VA, viewings and third-party pre-purchase inspections welcome. Happy to hold with a deposit while you arrange travel or financing. Payment and title transfer through KeySavvy www.keysavvy.com/pay/ram-cdfeey
FULL FAQ
Is the title clean and in hand?
Yes — clean title, held free and clear, ready to transfer at sale. No lien.
What’s the inspection/registration status?
Current Virginia state safety inspection. Still needs its emissions test — required in Fairfax County and most of Northern Virginia. Given the low mileage and modern gas engine, it’s a straightforward test; it just hasn’t been done yet. I’m looking to get this done before sale (I replaced the battery, which reset the computer so it needs enough miles on it to do the emission test).
Did you do the conversion yourself?
Yes — self-built. A thoughtfully designed layout with quality materials, built to be genuinely lived in by a family.
Is anything currently not working, or in need of attention?
Everything is functional and road-ready; cosmetic touch-ups are the main opportunity for a new owner. I can supply all manuals and wiring diagrams, plus a ton of spares.
What’s new / recently replaced?
Brand-new refrigerator, brand-new never-used toilet, and a new starter (chassis) battery.
