We’re deep in a listing process upgrade but we just released a few small seller updates of note to anyone selling or wanting to sell their van.
SCAMMERS BE GONE!
We’ve implemented a new moderation system and are now able to BLOCK known scammer email addresses. We’re stoked. They were pissing us off.
They will probably figure out a new form of scamming our sellers next week but until then, we’re very excited to have eased some of those pesky inquiries for our sellers.
This is not a greenlight to trust every single inquiry that comes into your inbox! Read more about current scams we’re seeing on our fraud awareness blog and if you suspect a scammer please send us their email ASAP so we can get them on The List. We should come up with a better name for that. Entries now open.
You can now delete your listing!
As much as we love to see that little sold sticker on listings, we understand things change and sometimes listings need to be deleted. To delete, head to your dashboard, click “Delete” next to the active listing, and poof! Note: once a listing is deleted it’s GONE.
Seller Survey
Maybe not the most exciting for our users but very exciting for us. Because like I said above, we want to keep making this site better and better and the more feedback we get, the easier it is to do that.
When you sell your rig and you go in to mark it as sold, you’ll now see a little pop up window with three (optional!) questions.
- Did you sell it on VLT?
- How much did you sell it for?
- Any more feedback?
That’s it! Simple, but amazing for our team. If you loathe surveys just skip past the questions and go about your life.
Speaking of surveys, if you have genius ideas or things you’re cranky about on the site, never hesitate to email us. We enjoy it. Even if you’re yelling at us. If we could buy you a digital beer we would. And then we will work our butts off to solve the issue.
