OUR STORY & THE VAN (“CANELA”)
We custom-built “Canela” with one goal in mind: complete autonomy without needing to rely on campsites or external hookups.
Starting in 2021, this van took us on the ultimate Pan-American journey from Alaska to Ushuaia over 2.5 years. Later, we shipped her to Europe and traveled through 60 countries, including Morocco, the UK, Ireland, Turkey, Georgia, Armenia, and all the way up to North Cape (Nordkapp)—the northernmost point in Europe accessible by road.
This van has been field-tested in Arctic cold, extreme heat, and harsh climates. The internal plumbing design and top-tier insulation helped prevent freezing issues even in extreme conditions.
We are now back in the US and have fully refreshed the van so its next owner can hit the road with complete confidence and freedom.
