A fully documented, mechanically sorted vanlife build with a brand new engine and a layout that actually works for families.

The Engine and Mechanicals

Brand new remanufactured long block engine, installed March 2025, only about 1,100 miles on it. Full Mopar Powertrain Warranty paperwork included. 69,854 miles on the chassis. New alternator, new battery, and new serpentine belt, all documented on Carfax. Recent service includes spark plugs, brake fluid flush, and transmission service. All-terrain tires from Discount Tire, maintained by Discount Tire.

The Build

Fixed full size organic mattress with a marine grade ventilation mat underneath to prevent mold. A third seat, originally from a Ford Transit, makes this one of the few builds that genuinely works for a family with a car seat. Full insulation with foam board, Mylar, and wool keeps it comfortable in every season.

Kitchen includes a sink with a marine grade faucet and shower combo, a one burner cooktop, and a 3 gallon refillable propane container. Hot water heater and two rear water tanks for plumbing. Top load fridge/freezer and an EcoFlow Delta Pro power station are both included, powered by a 500W solar panel on the roof.

Interior finishes include white board panels, vinyl faux wood flooring, curtains between the cab and living area, a bug screen on the sliding door, removable Carhartt seat covers, and a removable rubber cab mat. Vent fans with blackout covers, reflective cab window covers, and high grade rear window covers complete the build.

A 5 gallon bucket bathroom setup with toilet seat lid and pee funnel is included, along with two hammocks and a copy of Off Grid and On Purpose, an off-grid living guidebook written by the builder.

Stealth

This van looks exactly like a work van from the outside. No stickers, no roof tent, nothing that gives it away. Has been parked overnight in San Francisco with zero issues.
