2016 Dodge ProMaster 2500 | Off-Grid Ready Camper Van | 600W Solar

This one of a kind camper van was my full time home on wheels for 2 unforgettable years. I designed and built the entire conversion myself from start to finish. The build took 7 months and was thoughtfully crafted to be functional, comfortable, and ideal for full time living or extended travel. Fits 2 people & a furry friend comfortably!

1. Cozy Living & Sleeping Space: L-shaped couch that converts into a full-size Murphy bed with a 6″ Tea Tree memory foam cooling mattress — with an 18-gallon fresh water tank cleverly built into the couch base.
2. Kitchen: Fold-up table that extends into an L-shaped countertop, 12V compressor fridge with freezer, sink with a custom cutting board cover, and a fully pressurized water system — everything you need to cook real meals on the road.
3. Bathroom: Portable 5-gallon camp toilet that slides out from under the couch — tucked away when not in use, no wasted space.

6. Ventilation & Insulation: 12V Maxxair roof fan plus four windows — two rear, one side, and one large sliding door window — keep air flowing on the hottest days. Insulated throughout with a three-layer system: Thinsulate, spray foam, and Foamular rigid foam board — built for comfortable year-round living.
7. Electrical: 600W solar panels discreetly mounted on the roof, feeding a charge controller, 2000W inverter, 100Ah LiFePO4 battery, and a full breaker panel. During 2 years of full-time living, this setup consistently delivered 3–4 days of off-grid power in full sun. On cloudy days, simply plug into any standard outlet to top off the battery.
8. Head Space: Standing room for anyone up to 6’2″ (74″) — plenty of space to move around comfortably without hunching.
9. Security: A separator door with locking functionality divides the driving cab from the living area, providing complete privacy and discreteness. Additionally, both the driver and passenger doors feature an interior deadbolt lock for an extra layer of security.
10. Tow Hitch: Factory-installed tow hitch with a 5,100 lb max tow capacity — perfect for hauling a bike rack, small trailer, or adventure gear.
