Simple yet comfortable van conversion! This van has enough features and storage for long adventures but is also small and practical enough to be a daily driver.
New tires were put on this May (about 600 miles ago). My stepdad and I have been the only two owners of this van so I can assure that it’s always been well taken care of. Electrical system was installed professionally and includes Renogy solar panels, lithium battery and inverter as well as Victron DC/DC charger and MaxxAir Fan. There are two 12v/USB outlets for charging devices and powering the Iceco GO20 Fridge. Battery powered puck lights light the interior and don’t draw power from the battery- as a result a full charge will last at least 4 days powering just the fan, fridge and charging your phone!
The van has been insulated with 3M Thinsulate in the walls and ceiling and 1” foam board in the floor. Parked in the shade it stays fairly cool.
The kitchen features a hand pump sink and basic 5 gallon fresh water and grey water system. Additional 5 gallon jug for extra water storage included. There is a Thetford porta potti so you don’t have to leave the van in the middle of the night!
Please note that I built the bed to fit me (5’2”) so its is 65” long and 54” wide (standard full bed width) and may need to be adjusted to be comfortable for you. There is definitely space to make some adjustments.
