2022 Ram Promaster 2WD

This van was designed for remote workers, gamers, and anyone who needs real power and a reliable internet connection on the road, without giving up comfort. The overall design is simple, with premium choices made throughout, and it’s easy to customize to the next owner’s taste.

Everything in the van runs off the battery bank, including the air conditioning and water heater. If you plan on running the A/C or water heater for long stretches, plugging into shore power is recommended.

This van has been camped in regularly through New Hampshire winters and is comfortable to use year round. As with any van, I’d recommend not keeping the 40 gallon fresh water tank filled in freezing weather. The van's water tank and water heater were recently emptied and winterized for the upcoming winter season.

Power System

1. 3x SOK 206Ah heated LiFePO4 batteries (618Ah total, roughly 7.9 kWh). Heated batteries can charge safely in cold weather.
2. Victron MultiPlus-II 3000VA pure sine wave inverter/charger with Victron Lynx Distributor
3. 400W rooftop solar (2x 200W panels) with Victron SmartSolar charge controller
4. Victron Orion-Tr Smart DC-DC charger that charges the house batteries from the alternator while you drive
5. Victron BMV-712 battery monitor and Victron control panel
6. Blue Sea 120V AC panel with separate breakers for the galley outlets, cabin outlets, and water heater
7. Waterproof standard 120V shore power inlet at the rear of the van, plus a second inlet already installed for whatever the next owner wants to add
8. GFCI-protected 120V outlets
9. Dimmable LED ceiling lights, under-cabinet light bar, and exterior LED light above the side door

Internet and Connectivity

1. GL.iNet GL-X3000 5G cellular router
2. Peplink 42G roof-mounted cellular/WiFi antenna for better signal in remote areas
3. Starlink Mini installed and included, on a roof mount prewired for power and data. It can be wired into the X3000 to run alongside 5G cellular. Ownership of the dish will be transferred to the new owner so they can register it and set up their own service plan.

Climate Control

1. 12V under-bed air conditioner. There’s no bulky rooftop unit, so the roofline stays clean and the cabin stays quiet.
2. Eberspächer gasoline air heater fed directly from the van’s fuel tank, so there’s no separate fuel to carry or refill
3. MaxxAir MaxxFan 6200K roof vent fan (fully new replacement November 2026)
4. Fully insulated with 3M Thinsulate and Kilmat sound deadening throughout
5. Zippered bug screen on the sliding door
6. Blackout curtains between the cab and the living area

Kitchen and Water

1. Spacious acacia butcher block countertop
2. Deep single-bowl black sink with pull-down faucet
3. Built-in Duxtop induction cooktop
4. Dometic NRX-80T 12V compressor fridge with removable freezer compartment
5. 40 gallon fresh water tank with pump and accumulator tank for steady pressure

9. Hot and cold outdoor shower in its own compartment at the rear. Open the back doors and it’s right there.
10. Camco portable toilet, brand new and never used
11. Basic cookware, utensils, cups, and plates included if wanted, so it’s ready for the road from day one

Living, Workspace, and Storage

1. Long working desk with desk chair and a large window
2. 4K LG smart monitor included, plus keyboard and mouse if wanted. It’s ready for remote work or gaming from day one.
3. Full size bed with 6" mattress
4. Large storage area under the bed. The current owner kept a folding Lectric e-bike there in warmer months and storage bins for clothing and gear the rest of the year.
5. Plenty of overhead cabinets and drawers throughout, plus extra storage for smaller or thin items above the water tank
6. Pet-ready, with a built-in feeding spot and litter box area for a cat or other small animal. No pet? The litter box area also works well for shoes or general storage.

4. Front doors have deadbolts that lock from the inside
5. Side and rear doors have keyed deadbolts that lock from the outside
6. Two sets of deadbolt keys and two sets of van keys included

3. Meticulously maintained, with frequent oil changes and regular preventative maintenance

Why I’m Selling

I’m moving abroad in a few months, and import taxes make it impractical to bring the van with me. It will be missed!
