REDUCED 23 Mercedes 170AWD Adventure Van: Owl Vans Kit, 80/20 Build

We’re selling our tricked-out adventure van as we start a new chapter with our growing family. This has been our passion project, hundreds of hours went into the design and build. Every choice was intentional, no corners cut, and only top-of-the-line components were used. This wasn’t built for resale, which is why it’s bittersweet to let it go.

Who This Van is For

This van is ideal for an adventurous couple or solar traveler who wants freedom without limits. It’s designed to:

1. Get you safely off the beaten path with AWD capability, upgraded wheels, and all-season performance.
2. Keep you connected with mounted Starlink and a premium electrical system.
3. Support long stretches off-grid with 800Ah of power and 48 gallons of water. We loved surprising other campers with fresh cinnamon rolls and a pour over in the mornings.
4. Let you skip the crowded RV parks and go exactly where you want comfortably.

Interior Build (Durable & International Travel Friendly)

1. Nearly zero wood construction, all 80/20 aluminum framing (only wood is butcher block countertop)
2. Stronger, lighter, and international-shipping compliant

We built the van with 80/20 aluminum framing to keep the interior modular and adaptable. The design is easy to reconfigure or upgrade over time. Here are two examples:

1. Bed setup: Can be arranged as a raised platform bed with storage underneath, or converted into a dinette. Simply bolt in/out the floating floor and swap in a dinette-ready mattress.
2. Behind the driver’s seat: This space was used as our pup’s kennel, but it’s intentionally sized for an extra row of seats. Alternatively, you can extend the lower cabinets and counter onto the 80/20 frame, or add a table and take advantage of the dual swivel seats.
