Over the past 16 months I spent 50 nights in this van, on the beach, in the mountains, in campgrounds, and stealth camping in urban and suburban areas.

I had a blast, but I learned that I like to travel farther than I like to drive. And while I love the flexibility of being able to leave at the drop of a hat and take my home with me, I need to plan everything out anyway.

The chassis, a high roof 2021 Ram Promaster, drives like an SUV. The short wheelbase (118in) and tight turning radius makes it easy to maneuver in the city. And the small footprint (smaller than a Cadillac Escalade,) means it can park in any standard-sized space.

Inside there is room to stand up and walk around and a separate full wet bath with a shower, toilet, and second sink. Dual captain's chairs provide extra seating and the bench converts to a bed that sleeps two.
