I am selling my custom built 2022 4x4 144 Sprinter Van with a 3.0L Diesel engine and 12,XXX miles. I have pour my heart and soul into designing and building this campervan and spared no expense along the way. I built this vehicle to be self-sufficient, modular and very adaptable to enjoy during all 4 seasons of the year. It can safely seats 4 and can accommodate sleeping 4 with the addition with Luno Van Front Cab Mattress (not included) and a single person sleeping pad on the floor.
The interior construction includes lightweight 1/4 plywood paneling, plenty of L-Track and 8020 extruded aluminum framing. Walls and ceilings are insulated with 3M Thinsulate and reflectix. The floors are insulated with 1.5” Coosa Composite board Bluewater 26, which is normally used for high end marine applications. I also hand routed channels to accommodate a PEX tubing for a radiant heated floor.
By substituting high demand electrical components used for cabin heating, water heating and cooking with a diesel source coupled with an expanded 47 gallon diesel, off grid adventures can last for weeks on the 10,000 Watt hour battery bank with 400watts of solar power and a 60A DC to DC charger. In addition it reduces the number of energy sources - no propane tanks or gasoline for generator needed. The highly robust and efficient Rixen Enterprises MCS-7 system provides heated cabin air, radiant floor heating and instant hot water. The portable EcoFlow Wave 2 with extra battery provides plenty of cooling power and can be removed when not needed. Instead of looking at an ugly, permanently installed roof top mounted air conditioner that you must look at throughout the year, I elected to use EcoFlow’s portable AC unit that can be removed during colder months, and I installed an Arctic Tern Roof Hatch where a roof top AC unit is usually installed to allow for stargazing in bed.
