2021 Ram Promaster 2WD

This van is built for chasing winter storms all across North America. It was built to be able to hold up to 5 pairs of skis, or can be configured to hold 3 pairs of skis and a full suspension MTB in the garage. It was built with over 100 Linear Feet of 3M Thinsulate SM600L Thermal Insulation and Low-E reflective Foam Core Insulation so that you will be nice and warm in even the coldest weather. I have spent nights in northern Alberta where the outside air temperature was -50F and it was still a balmy 60F inside the van.

It is heated with both a Cubic Mini Grizzly Wood Stove ($2,000+ value) and the Webasto Air Top 2000 STC heater with the upgraded Digital Timer Multicontrol Unit ($1,800 value).

The electronics were professionally built and installed by Off-Grid Solutions and include the following components which total almost $12,000:

-2 Lion Energy 105Ah Lithium batteries for a total of 210Ah of power

-Cotek 2000/3000W pure sine wave inverter/charger with built in transfer switch and remote

-Solaria 400W commercial grade solar panel

-Victron Energy 35 amp SmartSolar Bluetooth MPPT Charge controller

-Victron Energy 30 amp Orion-Tr Smart Bluetooth DC/DC charger

-Victron Energy Bluetooth Battery Monitor (BMV-712 Smart)

-Blue Sea Systems 12 position fuse block

Additionally, the build out also includes the following items:

-Dometic CFX3 75DZ Dual Zone Fridge for all the food you could ever need

-Dometic GO Hydration Water Faucet and 11L drinking water tank

-7″ Gel Memory Foam Twin Mattress

-The bed was built on a Selby Gas Piston Bed Lift to be able to access all fo the storage in the garage area underneath the bed.
