This is a 2021 Mercedes Sprinter high roof 170 2WD with a full professional conversion done in 2022 by Adventure Family Vans of Utah. We designed this van as the ultimate family camper, and it has everything you need for an off-grid family adventure. This is my favorite vehicle that I’ve ever owned, and your family will love it.
I bought this van new in February 2022, the build was finished in May, and it is under the Mercedes warranty (5 years / 100,000 powertrain, 3 years / 36,000 basic warranty). It also has a transferrable warranty from Adventure Family Vans that would cover any issues with the build.
The interior features a beautiful wood ceiling, shiplap siding, custom cabinetry, and a dinette area with seating for six. There is a Freedman Bellagio seat with seatbelts and child restraint hooks for 2 additional passengers. This seat also fits 2 child seats, in forward or rear-facing configurations. To stay comfortable inside, there is a roof mounted air conditioner and sliding dinette windows, as well as a diesel heater to keep you warm during cool nights. There is also a BugWall screen for the sliding door allowing for bug-free ventilation.
This van sleeps 4 inside, with the convertible dinette area that transforms into a 60” wide bed, and 5 foot long bunk beds for the kids. 2 additional people can sleep on the roof inside the RoofNest Falcon XL pop up tent, which features a queen size foam mattress with a pillow top. There is also a massive wooden roof deck, the perfect place for sipping your coffee in the morning or enjoying a cocktail at sunset.
The kitchen features a large butcher block countertop with farmhouse sink, 30 gallons of freshwater storage, and 15 gallons of greywater storage. There is also an under counter Vitrifrigo 4.2L fridge/freezer, microwave, large slide-out pantry, drawer and overhead storage, water heater, and induction cooktop. The fridge runs continuously off solar and battery power, so it is always cold and ready to roll.
This is a fully electric setup, with 600Ah of lithium batteries and a large solar panel mounted on the roof top tent. It features a Victron electrical system with a touch screen monitor, bluetooth app monitoring, and a large 3000W inverter, to power the appliances, water heater, and air conditioner. There is a shore-power hookup and DC to DC charging from the vehicle inverter. There are 5 A/C outlets throughout, as well as multiple USB ports for all of your devices. The rooftop tent also has interior lighting, as well as A/C and USB power. Battery heaters and temperature monitoring make charging in cold weather possible.
The Laveo Dry Flush toilet is a no blackwater, self contained, and battery powered toilet. It works great and there is no dumping required, and no messing with a smelly blackwater system.
All standard windows come with magnetic, insulated blackout covers that fold up and store in-place, or in custom bags. The 3 framed-in windows have custom insulated covers, for full privacy and darkness, so you can sleep in!
Additional features include an outdoor (hot) shower, 13’ Fiamma awning, 52” front light bar, side and rear exterior lighting, driver and passenger swivel seats, custom cabinets with tons of overhead storage, and additional storage under the bunks and dinette seats.
This Sprinter is like-new, with only 4,900 miles, and less than 2,000 miles of light use since the conversion. It features the Mbux multimedia system with 7” touch screen and navigation, back up camera, trailer hitch, driver convenience package, lane keep assist, and leatherette swivel seats.
