This 2021 Ford Transit 350 High Roof has been thoughtfully converted into a comfortable, self-contained camper van that’s ready for road trips, camping, extended travel, or van life. With approximately 39,000 miles, it combines the reliability and drivability of a newer Transit with a well-equipped camper conversion.
The interior features a warm, modern design with extensive bamboo & wood cabinetry, a wood-plank ceiling, durable flooring, and plenty of natural light. The layout provides a permanent rear bed, a full kitchen area, overhead storage, climate control, and a large garage/storage area underneath the bed.
One of the highlights of the build is the electrical system, centered around quality Victron components and a substantial house battery bank. Rooftop solar, a 3,000-watt Victron inverter/charger, shore-power capability, rooftop air conditioning, ventilation, and a dedicated heating system make the van suitable for much more than basic weekend camping.
The kitchen offers a large countertop and stainless-steel sink with substantial cabinet and drawer storage. A dedicated water system supplies the sink, while the refrigerator is conveniently located beneath the counter.
At the rear, the permanent raised bed eliminates the need to convert your sleeping area every night. Underneath is a spacious garage with an exceptionally useful heavy-duty slide-out storage tray, providing easy access to gear from the rear doors.
The conversion has been designed to make good use of the Transit High Roof’s interior space while maintaining an open center aisle and plenty of storage. Whether you’re looking for a weekend adventure vehicle or a van capable of longer trips, this Transit offers many of the systems and amenities found in considerably more expensive professionally marketed camper vans.
