2021 Ford Transit 2WD

2021 Ford Transit 250, 148 inch wheelbase, medium roof, rear wheel drive. 3.5L V6 with the 10 speed automatic. 39,029 miles. Never been in a crash, personal vehicle since new.

Insulated throughout with 3M Thinsulate SM600L. Ez-Cool reflective insulation in the wheel wells, 100 square feet of it, plus spray foam sealing the openings. XPS rigid foam board, with Baltic birch and vinyl over the top.

Heat is an Espar Airtronic S3 B2L gasoline air heater, 2.0 kW, about 6,800 BTU. Professionally installed under the seat by Open Road Upfitters in Glenbeulah, Wisconsin in March 2025, and I have the invoice. It runs off the van’s own gas tank so there’s no separate fuel to carry. Integrated altitude sensor rated past 13,000 feet with no high altitude kit needed. Draws 11 to 26 watts.

Cabinetry from the same shop on the same invoice: a 48 inch upper cabinet, a cockpit cabinet, and a 48 inch wood slide out drawer in the rear running on 48 inch slides.

Electrical is a Renogy system. 12V 100Ah LiFePO4 battery with Bluetooth, 1280 watt hours. Renogy DCC50S 50 amp DC to DC charger with built in MPPT, so it charges off the alternator while driving and off the roof when parked. Renogy ONE Core touchscreen monitor. Two Newpowa 75 watt monocrystalline panels up top, 150 watts total.

Bed platform is 67 inches wide by 75 inches long with the deck 38 inches off the floor, leaving a full width garage underneath for bikes and gear. IKEA twin mattress included, runs lengthwise with open deck alongside it.

Two sets of tires come with it. Falken Wildpeak all terrains, LT225/75R16, under 10,000 miles on them, returning about 17 mpg on the highway. Continental VanContact, the factory tires the van came with, about 32,000 miles on them with plenty of tread left, returning about 19 mpg on the highway. Factory Ford steel wheels.

Also included: Tiger Tough seat covers, window covers for the windshield and side windows, and a magnetic mosquito net for the sliding door that attaches with velcro.

What it does not have: no water system, no sink or galley, no fridge, no toilet or shower, no inverter. It is 12 volt only.
