It’s unfortunately time for me to let go of my self-built campervan, Ladybird. I’ve owned this van since 2020 and have meticulously cared for it. I spent two years building it by hand and two years living in it full-time. She’s my magnum opus as a craftsman and my pride and joy. I’ve decided to sell her because I’ve found an incredible life away from the road and all she’s doing now is collecting dust. I’d much rather see Ladybird go to people who will appreciate and use her the way she was built for. The van was built for a full-time lifestyle but can also make an excellent weekend recreation vehicle. It has easily fit two adults in the past without any issues like insufficient electricity or water capacity. Mechanically, it’s as sound as can be and still holds its original drivetrain from the factory. I haven’t had to perform any major repairs and have kept up on routine maintenance, including transmission fluid. Additionally, almost all its miles are from the highway. Unfortunately, there is some hail damage on the roof above the windshield, but it’s difficult to see in most lighting. As mentioned prior, I built the entirety of this van myself, so if you have any technical questions, I am happy to answer them in detail. I poured my heart into this build and I believe it shows in the aesthetic and details of this van. She’s a pretty unique one!
