This is a great van for a couple or solo adventurer looking for a very functional easy to drive vehicle that will take them just about anywhere they want to go for a much more affordable price than either a Sprinter or Ford Transit conversion. While not 4WD, front wheel drive provides fantastic traction and a surprisingly tight turning radius. The high driving position allows for excellent forward visibility of road conditions allowing the driver to see over most vehicles ahead. Highway milage measures approximate 19mpg giving approximately 400 miles of range with the 24gal fuel tank. The van is equipped with a roof rack system rated to 750lbs. It has been used to carry all manner of surfboards as well as a 17′ canoe. Access to the rack is provided via the included Thule telescopic ladder. The van also has a factory installed class 3 hitch and is capable of towing 5000lbs.

The buildout was completed with modular components provided by Trail Kitchens out of Truckee CA. The components include a platform bed atop an 8 compartment cabinet system as well as a stand alone sink and refrigerator unit that contains the Dometic dual power refrigerator (12vdc/120vac) and both the potable and grey water storage bladders (55L each). Also included is the Trial Kitchen portable Chuck box to house all needed kitchen utensils and propane stove. This can be set up at the side door of the van or moved to a picnic table.

Bug screening is provided for both the backdoor (shown) and side door (not shown). Thermal window coverings are provided by NRF.

Auxiliary power is provide via a 100ah AGM battery charged by a Renogy multi battery type 50amp DC to DC charger. This charger is also equipped with a MPPT function to allow it to manage a solar input. Battery state of charger status is monitored with Renogy battery monitor. Charging status can be monitored in real time on a cell phone via the installed Bluetooth unit.

Interior lighting consists of 6 recessed dimmable LED ceiling cans. Ventilation is provided by a MaxxFan 10 speed unit with remote control.

Cargo area floor is coated with hard rubberized non-marking coating.

Van includes a Mr. Heater Big Buddy portable enclosed space radiant propane heater capable of heating 450sqft for up to 11hrs on two Coleman 1lbs. propane cylinders. An adapter hose can also be used to allow the use of larger refillable cylinders.
