2018 Ford Transit 2WD

This is a custom built van camper, designed for ski vacations, hiking adventures, and desert escapes. This van has been well cared for and has taken great care of us in return – it’s an excellent highway cruiser with plenty of power thanks to the dual turbos on the engine. In terms of handling, it drives better than most SUVs on the road; as this has been my personal Ski Chalet, it has handled snowy and rainy conditions extremely well, thanks in part to the BFGoodrich KO2 tires (~25000 miles on them). Additionally, I have spent many nights camping in this van up at Mammoth, Alta, and Mt. Bachelor, and found myself perfectly warm due to the insulation and the work of the mighty propex heater (mid-60s inside, mid teens outside). It has likewise handled summer well, and has been a fantastic way to travel to many western national parks. As this is the high roof and extended version, you have a 6’4 headroom with fully insulated floor and ceiling, and plenty of space to cook, live, and relax!
