2016 Ram Promaster3500 EXT/High Roof Conversion

The Vehicle:

2016 Promaster3500 159EXT with 162k miles. 

I purchased it from a local plumber who had maintained and regularly serviced it and started building it out. Because I had just purchased it and didn’t know if it was “reliable” or not, I bought an extended warranty from Auto Services Company. Thankfully, I have not had any mechanical issues with this van. The extended warranty is transferable and covers the vehicle for another 10k miles or till July 2025, whichever comes first. The warranty covers the engine, transmission, suspension, air conditioning, steering, cooling system, fuel system, and many other items. I will pay for the warranty to be transferred to the new owner. 

I will also provide build-out support via phone or video chat for the new owner. This means if something breaks or you have an issue, you can text or call me, and I will do my best to help you troubleshoot the issue. I will also walk you through the system operations at the time of purchase. 

I have maintained the vehicle with Pennzoil Synthetic oil changes every 5k miles.

The transmission had a fluid evacuation done about 10k miles ago.

Tires have warranty from discount tire and have 50-60% tread wear remaining.

The only current mechanical issue is the turn signal switch, which automatically cancels on left turns. It’s a cheap fix, but one that I have not done. The tire pressure monitor light sometimes comes on even though tire pressures are perfect. This is an intermittent problem, and probably a sensor is going out.

I also have a ScanGuage III installed on the dash to digitally monitor fluid temps and pressures. I upgraded the side mirrors to the factory tow mirrors with built-in blind spot mirrors. I also added a trailer hitch for my bike rack from etrailers.com.

I have taken this van from Georgia to western Canada and all over the United States, and it has never broken down or left me stranded. Everything works like it should, both mechanically and on the build-out.

I am selling this vehicle turn-key ready, which means mattresses, beds, hoses, extension cords, leveling blocks, a fridge, and pans will all be sold with it.

The build-out has worked great, and everything works as it should. There are no leaks or issues. The van weighs just under 6,900 pounds, fully loaded with two passengers and a full tank of fresh water, which is well under the 10,000-pound limit.

I have a clean and clear Georgia title with no liens. If you need financing, I highly recommend trying Lightstream. If approved, funding is the next day, and no title is needed to secure the loan.
