This van has taken me on so many adventures! Together with my dog, I traveled 23,000 miles in 2024–including 23 US States, 7 Canadian Provinces, 1 Canadian Territory (the Yukon), and have traveled from as far south as Florida/New Mexico/Arizona to as far north as Alaska, and as far east as Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. I am sorry to let Beatrice go but had plans to upgrade to a shuttle bus when she had her breakdown. She is extremely reliable and I have had regular maintenance, with no mechanical issues until this breakdown put the van in limp mode. I have full maintenance and service records since Beatrice has been in my possession, and from the previous owner as well–I am only the second private owner, and the only one to live full-time in this van.
I have successfully lived off-grid in the middle of nowhere in this van for several weeks at a time, and have also successfully stealth camped many times with it in cities. Between the solar setup, the shore-power plug, and the ability to charge the house batteries off of the alternator, I have successfully lived and worked full-time in this van with no power issues. This van would be a *phenomenal* starter van, or for anyone looking for something with all the amenities.
If you choose to not repair the van, this would be an *amazing* AirBNB–all of the “house” components work extremely well, but I am selling the van as I am moving on to other adventures.
I have detailed paperwork of all work that has ever been done on this van to demonstrate its history of strong performance, but due to this being a Mercedes transmission, I do not have the time/resources right now to source the repair, hence the lower sales price.

Title: Clean
Hi-Roof, 17′ long (fits in normal parking space), approximately 11′ tall exterior (6’+ interior)
Important: The van is not currently running and requires a transmission be installed. It is not drivable and will need to be towed/transported. Due to it being a diesel, this van still has many, many miles left in it once the repair is complete.
A fully functional van of this model and build sells for $55k+, but I am asking $45K OBO and am very flexible. For pricing context, I had this van transported when I first bought it, and it cost ~$1,200 to get it from CO to Indy. I also had it transported when it broke down in MA, and it was ~$1,300 to do so, again to Indy (about 1,000 miles each time). I am very willing to amend pricing for any transportation or other costs, just shoot me an email!
