2016 Mercedes Sprinter 4×4

This 2016 Mercedes Sprinter 2500 4x4 has been thoughtfully converted into a simple, comfortable and highly capable adventure van. The build prioritizes versatility and open space rather than trying to pack a full RV into a 144" Sprinter.

The interior is finished in warm cedar paneling with custom cabinetry, integrated puck lighting and a clean, open layout. The bench converts into a bed when it's time to camp and folds back up to create a surprisingly spacious interior during the day. Both front seats swivel to become part of the living space.

One of the best features of the van is its off-grid setup. A 300Ah lithium battery bank is charged by both solar and the vehicle's alternator and powers the Vitrifrigo refrigerator, lighting and other house electrical. A Webasto diesel heater keeps the van comfortable in cold weather, while the roof fan provides ventilation when it's warm.

We intentionally kept the build simple—there is no shower, toilet or permanent plumbing system taking up valuable interior space. That makes the van easy to maintain and leaves considerably more room for people, gear and whatever adventure you have planned.

The factory 4x4 system combined with the shorter 144" wheelbase makes this a particularly versatile Sprinter. It's comfortable on long road trips but still maneuverable enough that you don't feel like you're driving a large RV.

The van has been well cared for, has no known mechanical issues or rust, and has been serviced regularly with service records available. The electrical portion of the conversion was completed by a licensed electrician.
