Built in 2018, this Promaster 3500 van (159” WB, high-roof) is fully equipped with the amenities to make it a TRUE home away from home. My wife and I have had so many amazing adventures around the country with it over the past 6 years. It works great for weekend getaways and full-time living alike (hot or cold weather)- we've done both multiple times. We recently had a baby and need to get something bigger!

This history is proof that all the van's systems are robust and reliable. You can view the rental listing here: https://www.outdoorsy.com/rv-rental/menomonee-falls_wi/2015_ram_promaster-3500_378867-listing. For the right owner, this provides a fantastic opportunity to earn rental income and offset the cost of ownership.
We just swapped the entire engine for a gently used one with 125k miles on it, and the most important parts were upgraded to avoid common failure points for this particular engine (Chrysler Pentastar). It was surgically clean inside upon inspection, showing it had regular oil changes.
• Upgraded Components: The notorious plastic oil cooler was swapped for a rock-solid, all-aluminum Dorman unit. I also replaced the plastic thermostat housing and coolant crossover pipe with metal versions from Dorman.
• New Valvetrain: All rocker arms and lifters were replaced, eliminating the dreaded "Pentastar tick" and potential for misfires.
• Recent Maintenance: Beyond the engine swap, this van is fresh off an oil change with full synthetic, a complete transmission fluid service (new fluid and filter), and a recent alternator replacement. The tires are also less than a year old with only about 6,000 miles on them. Front struts and ball joints and rear shocks replaced @ 180k.
• Security: A secret kill switch by the driver’s seat provides an extra layer of anti-theft protection.
In short, this van is a completely turn-key solution. With all the mechanical and maintenance work done, it’s truly road-ready for a giant or small adventure—just pack your bags and go!
