When it’s time to rest, the snug sleeping quarters provide a tranquil haven to recharge. The pedestal table between the benches telescopes down and into the bench seat system and the cushions slide together creating a large and very comfortable bed. Cushions are made from a combination of solid seat foam and memory foam creating a perfect blend of support and comfort.
Powering the entire van is a self-contained solar power bank separate from the vehicle’s startup battery. 2x 100-watt panels on the roof send solar power through the Renogy Wanderer charge controller and into the 100 amp hr deep cycle battery. Additionally, there is a 12v fuse box that sends 12 gauge wiring to each of the 12v components around the van. Fuses are easily accessible and replaceable (although they have never needed replacing). Finally, there is a small 200 watt inverter on the kitchen counter for plugging in small electronics such as a laptop charger, electric razor, lower power blender, etc. There are also usb outlets around the van that pull from the solar battery bank allowing you to charge phones and laptops indefinitely while staying off grid.
