Ford e250 Camper Van with Wasatch Overland High Top

Turnkey, four season/winter-ready camper van. Low mileage, mostly highway-driven miles; meticulously maintained with no issues. Clean title in hand.

Asking $28,000, price is negotiable. Serious inquiries only please. I am happy to answer questions on the build, provide maintenance records/Carfax, or do a video walkthrough.

The Van

1997 Ford E250, 5.4L Triton V8, runs perfectly

1. 75,000 original miles — mostly highway, never driven hard. In a previous life, this van was a police surveillance vehicle.
2. Regular oil, fluid, and filter changes on schedule; can provide full maintenance history
3. Runs great, zero issues; this engine definitely has a lot of life left in it!

The Build (on top of what I originally bought it for, I have ~$15K+ invested in it)

1. High top conversion by Wasatch Overland (specializes in high tops for econolines, out of Salt Lake City) — significant stand-up height, ~$10K+ build
2. Upgraded electrical system: new 100Ah lithium battery + 100W roof-mounted solar panel + DC-DC charger + upgraded wiring + main off/on switch + 500W inverter — complete reliable off-grid power (~$1K)
3. Espar/Eberspächer Airtronic B4L M2 gasoline-fired heater (12V, 4kW) — taps directly into the van’s own gas tank, runs super cleanly and efficiently. This feature makes the van legitimately winter-capable and four-season ready (it keeps it very comfortable in cold temps for ski and mountain trips) (~$2K)
4. MaxAir Fan w/ remote (~$500)
5. New shocks (~$1k)
6. New AT tires (~$1k)
7. New starting battery ($300)
8. Dimmable interior lighting
9. New center console ($150)
10. New head unit with Apple Carplay/Android Auto ($600)

Other details:

1. Professionally built-out cabinetry with butcher-block-like countertop, bed platform, and plenty of storage for kitchen, clothing, and anything extra in bulkhead space, as well as a big “garage” space under the bed
2. Fully insulated
3. Fresh water and grey water tanks with water pump and faucet

Also includes:

1. A set of gently-used studded winter tires (mounted on separate wheels)
2. Custom insulated window covers (fitted for windshield and driver/passenger side windows)
3. Yeti cooler + 12V cigarette-lighter fridge adapter wired to the house battery
4. CB radio (because why not?)

A Personal Note

The van’s name is Stevan… I love him; it’s hard to let him go, but I want him to end up with someone who’ll love him and enjoy him for many years to come.
