This Disney inspired Haunted Mansion Sprinter conversion won Most Creative Build at the Enumclaw, WA Adventure Van Expo and is now available for sale. Imagination and quality abound in this very capable adventure van that features a giant walkable skylight above the bed for stargazing, a complete Rixen’s hydronic heating system with in-floor heat, hot air and ‘endless’ hot water, and a Victron electrical system with four 206 amp hour LIFEPO4 batteries.
The skylight is a walkable Lewmar size 78 Pilot Hatch with a passable opening of about 30 x 31”. Rather than a hinged opening this one pops up about an inch and slides forward under the roof rack. When closed it’s walkable and watertight.
The custom designed and printed canvas wall and ceiling coverings feature Disney inspired hidden characters. The ceiling looks like a keep sky nebula and when it’s too foggy or cloudy to stargaze through the huge skylight you can still watch the stars twinkle with 512 strands of embedded fiber optic threads.
HEATING/HOT WATER:
The complete Rixen’s hydronic heating system has a hydronic heated floor, a ducted air handler, and endless hot water limited only by the size of the freshwater tank. There’s also an engine heat loop with dash switch for using the Rixen’s/Espar furnace to preheat the Sprinter engine or to use the Sprinter engine waste heat to preheat the Rixen’s hydronic system.
The floor is 3/4” Coosa Blue Water fiber reinforced foam panels with baltic birch overlay and one-piece Lonseal (Lonbead) industrial flooring adhered with Lonseal adhesive. The Lonbead flooring makes the floor look like it was paved with black pearls.
Walls and ceiling are fully insulated with 3M Thinsulate.

LIGHTING:
Interior LED lighting installed under upper cabinets is dimmable, color changeable and controlled by either remote, push-button switch or phone app.
Red LED light under slider entry (red light preserves night vision).
In cabinet lights are push button controlled. Sometimes you need a little light and sometimes you don’t want to wake others late at night, so push button switches give you the choice.
Roof rack with exterior lighting mounted on both sides and rear. The roof rack lights are controlled by an Auxbeam 8 device switch panel mounted in the overhead console and can also be controlled via a phone app.
Lagun table mount system with folding bamboo game table and a spare bamboo slab table. The custom folding bamboo game table has walnut inlay chess/checker squares as well as cribbage and scrabble. All game pieces, cards and pegs are included. The chess pieces are Disney villain characters… fitting of a proper Haunted Mansion.
CNC routed spider webs in cabinetry provide themed ventilation and a safe home for a bejeweled purple spider greeting you at the slider entry.
