COMING SOON! Ramblin’ Ram: 2014 Ram Promaster NEW conversion

Meet Ramblin’ Ram, the 2014 RAM Promaster 1500 136 WB with a complete NEW campervan conversion by Vanaconda Customs. This van features the 3.6L V6 gas engine and front wheel drive with around 116,000 miles on the ticker. It has the rare 2nd sliding door, along with the factory installed window at the passenger side sliding door. With a custom slide out hot shower, unique night sky lighting scene and a queen fixed bed, this is not your average campervan. You’ll be pleasantly surprised by all the features fit into a short wheelbase Promaster.

Features include:

1. Bed: 8” Tuft and Needle QUEEN mattress on fixed bed platform with ample ventilation under (no alterations to mattress size was required). This bed is more comfortable than my bed at home.
2. Sink: 15” x 15” x 9” deep Torva sink with fold down faucet and attached separate sprayer head for hosing off larger items indoors or outdoors. Water pump shutoff switch conveniently located at sink. Custom countertop match birch cutting board cover and custom fit drainage tray. 5 gallon freshwater and 5 gallon gray water tanks dedicated to the sink with easy access from outside of van.
3. Gas Cooktop: RecPro 2 burner gas cooktop with integrate glass cover. Gas bottle is housed in a European style gas stainless steel gas locker, accessible only from exterior of van, with a proper drop vent through the van floor.
4. Oven: 12V Australian made marine oven
5. Refrigerator: Large ICECO VL60 Dual Zone Portable Refrigerator/Freezer with SECOP Compressor, 60 Liters Refrigerator, on heavy duty slide out steel tray. Stop points on slide to allow refrigerator multi-function use as bench seating and lounge seating.
6. Countertops: Birch butcherblock countertops with slide out kitchen countertop extension
7. Wine rack: Slide out wine bottle storage for 2 bottles of wine
8. Storage: Ample storage in kitchen drawers, cabinet and overhead shelf. Large garage area beneath bed accessible from interior or exterior of van. Padded upper storage cabinets above foot of bed.
9. Toilet: Joolca GottaGo separating toilet in slide out drawer beneath fixed bench seating. Portable toilet can also be setup in the slide out shower stall at rear of van.

15. Shower: Custom design slide out shower tray at rear of van. No muddy feet, and full privacy when you want it! 500lb drawer slides with additional 800lb support legs for leveling. Portable propane hot water heater with direct feed to the shower specific 16 gallon heavy duty water tank. Tank is filled via an external fill port on side of van. Pop up waterproof shower enclosure for privacy. ETL Oxygenics Fury RV Handheld Shower with flow adjustment and shutoff on the handle. Shower head mount on rear door. Non-slip shower mat. 5 gallon collapsible bucket to collect drainage, along with 4.4 gallon portable “oil change” container for when there is no dump station nearby. There is also an option to drain directly on the ground when reasonable.
16. Dining: Lagun table mount and custom removable tabletop with seating for 2. Portable folding lap table for breakfast in bed. Custom bamboo shower tray cover converts the rear slide out shower to an outdoor dining table (just add your favorite camp chairs)
17. Working: The Lagun table mount is height adjustable so can also be used as a standing desk, in conjunction with the slide out countertop extension, with enough room for multiple screens, laptop, notepad and etc. Convenient outlets on both sides, including a pop up outlet bank with wireless charging top.
18. Lighting: The custom night sky lighting scene is truly unique! The dimmable LED moon is hand sculpted and recessed in the upholstered panel ceiling along with 54 tiny dimmable stars. In addition, there are dimmable overhead LED puck lights on switch, 2 reading lights and 2 pendant task lights.
19. Awning: Moonshade XL awning with heavy duty suction cup attachment to van. Easy setup portable awning solution.
20. Ventilation: MaxxAir Deluxe rooftop 2 way fan positioned over bed with remote. Portable tabletop fan. Shear curtains at rear doors, along with insect screens for ALL door openings. In addition to screens for the front driver/passenger windows, louvered window inserts have also been provided for a more secure option while urban camping.
21. Privacy: Blackout insulated window covers for ALL glass. The driver/passenger window covers have drop down panel at top with insect mesh to allow airflow while privacy is maintained. Blackout insulated cover for MaxxAir fan.
22. Stealth: With no rooftop solar, awning or exterior mounted racks, this van is fully stealth, while still offering comfortable outdoor space when the setting allows

So, why isn’t it available yet? Ramblin’ currently needs a windshield replacement and it just started having the infamous Pentastar Tick that is VERY common for the Ram Promaster vans around 110k miles. I have a quote for the windshield replacement for $486. I asked the local Ram dealer service center for the WORST CASE scenario quote on the fix for the pentastar tick, which came in at $3980. This includes replacing all lifters, camshafts and rocker arms (issue is very likely only rocker arms). Quotes available. Unfortunately, the soonest I can get on the schedule is August 29th. If someone wants or needs the van before then, I will reduce the price by $5,000 to purchase it as-is.
