The walls, doors, and ceiling are insulated with natural sheep wool, which keeps the van warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Being wool, it is very environmentally friendly, doesn’t off gas nasty chemicals into your living space, and retains its insulating power even if it gets wet! The wood floor is insulated with a continuous layer of Polyiso rigid insulation, completing the full wrap of insulation. Paired with the diesel heater, this van stays toasty warm even in extreme winter temperatures. The pillow for the bench seat also doubles as an insulated cover for the ceiling fan when it gets cold.
Powered with an all-in-one Bluetti AC200P battery unit, there is 2000Wh of battery and a 2000W pure sine inverter that can be charged with both the commercial grade 340W roof mounted solar panel, and the van’s engine while you are driving. It is powerful enough to run Instant Pots and table saws, and is incredibly simple to use. It has six standard AC wall outlets, as well as numerous USB outlets, and two wireless charging pads. It is also expandable up to 12000Wh with connectible battery packs made by Bluetti.
Making meals is a breeze, with a built in three burner stove and oven combo, plus a huge 75L dual zone Iceco fridge/freezer, and an oversized stainless steel sink with a flexible faucet. The two sides of the fridge have independently adjustable temperature settings, allowing you to change them between fridge and freezer to suit your needs. Beautiful, solid maple countertops, and a large wood table on a Lagun swivel mount give tons of space to prep and eat. The Maxxair ceiling fan is directly over the stove for easy venting while cooking, and the large awning style window behind the sink lets in lots of natural light and can even be left open while it’s raining. Worried about bugs getting in? Don’t be, because the window has a built in, retractable screen, as well as a shade for privacy. This window is also a dual pane acrylic window, meaning it provides substantially more insulation than a standard glass window, plus there is virtually no risk of it breaking.
Large drawers, two overhead cabinets, and open shelving provide heaps of storage space for your kitchen. Magnetic locks keep the drawers and cabinet doors from opening while on the road. Soft sided baskets fit snuggly on the shelf over the foot of the bed for clothing storage yet don’t make the space feel fully boxed in.
The head of the bed has a sliding window, and enough headroom to comfortably sit up. There is also a built in book rack on the back door to keep your reading material within easy reach. A small shelf for charging your phone is right next to a reading light with a flexible neck. The light has a built in USB port on the bottom side, so your phone cord won’t get in the way.
The van has numerous custom, original art pieces throughout, including a moon on the rear door over the bed, and a geometric iceberg and whale design on the sliding door. The step up into the cab area has a hand drawn mountain range on it, and functions as a storage space for extra shoes.
The sink runs on an electric pump with a removable 7gal fresh tank and 6gal grey tank underneath. These are very easy to take out and fill or clean. Switches are conveniently placed next to the items they control.
The elevated bed has a full size mattress and plenty of space underneath to store anything from a mountain bike, to skis, to an inflatable paddleboard. It is on slats rather than a solid platform, both to reduce weight and provide airflow so you won’t have to worry about moisture buildup or mold. Also under the bed is the propane locker, which is sealed and vented to the outside.
