Custom Built campervan on the Ford 2019 350HD dually chassis, high roof (6’3” standing height) with lots of features and storage
· Remaining warranties: Ford factory 5yr/50k, Victron electronics 5yr, Battleborn batteries 10y
· LOW 16,400 miles and only motorcraft oil filters and Mobil 1 full synthetic oil changes every 4-5K miles
· 3.5 ecoboost engine with lots of power and fully loaded gets 14mpg
· 10,300lb GVWR (gross vehicle weight rating). Fully built van weighs 8,200lbs so there is 2,100lbs of cargo carrying capacity. This is important to check on any van.
· One owner with NO accidents
Power
· 400 AH amp hours of Battleborn lithium batteries
· 3000 watt Victron multiplus inverter and charger. Victron has the ability to create AC power from the DC batteries but also to add power to the available shore power so you can plug into a small generator or even a 15 amp outlet and still have the full 30 amps of power available throughout the van; not possible with many inverters
· 30 amp shore power/generator connection. Custom removable generator rack on a 2nd receiver hitch; rack has built in lock for a Honda EU200I generator or can be used with any generator up to the size of a Predator 3500
· Transfer switch to control power to the AC outlets. You can power the outlets from the generator/shore power or through the inverter. This is so you can control the power output and not have the inverter run your batteries dead overnight if you are using air conditioning and your shore/generator power goes out while your sleeping
· Renogy 320 watts of solar panels on the roof with victron 100/30 MPPT solar charge controller
· Victron BMV 712 battery monitor
· Victron orion smart 30 amp alternator charger to charge the lithium batteries while the vehicle engine is running
· All Victron components can be easily monitored and controlled from a Bluetooth connection to your cell phone
· Mostly marine tinned, stranded copper wiring. Oversized for the amp draw with 10 gauge AC, 12 and 14 gauge DC, 4/0 battery. Redundant fuses and breakers
Convenience
· Dometic briskair 13,500 BTU air conditioner with added heat-strip for electric heat and Microair easy start to allow the AC to work from a small generator or even from the inverter and batteries. Hein roof adapter and additional roof structure to safely support the air conditioner
· Passenger seat swivels around
· Well insulated with up to 2 layers of 3m Thinsulate insulation. Resists water and mold
· Added full length running boards
· Large Carefree Colorado awning
· 33 gallons of fresh water tank with filtration
· 25 gallons of grey water with dump valve and also electric gravity drain valve to drain the tank whenever appropriate
· 4 gallon water heater

Bath
· Sliding privacy door

· Urine diverting toilet. Urine goes into the 25 gallon grey tank and solids go into a bag in a bucket. All in a sealed air tight container when the lid is closed. We just throw the bag out in any trash receptacle (gas station, campground, etc) . No more searching for dump stations to dump sewage and fewer odors than a traditional RV toilet. My wife was very concerned when I said what I planned to install; now she says it is great and has no desire to go back to a black tank again
· Sink for brushing teeth, hand washing, etc. ; also doubles to flush the urine drain line
· Maxxair 10-speed exhaust fan with hein adapter
Sleeping
· Twin 30×75 mattresses that can be left as beds fulltime or converted into a daytime sofa. There is an aisle between the beds making it easy to use the bathroom without disturbing your partner
· Lots of storage under each bed
Kitchen
· Large 9.1 cu ft. Nova Kool refrigerator/freezer. Works off of DC battery power or AC shore power
· Portable induction cooktop
· 100watt microwave
· large deep stainless sink
· Huge pantry and cabinet/drawer storage
· With the inverter and lithium batteries there is no need to be plugged in to use the appliances and cook a full meal
· CR Laurence opening awning window in the slider door for a nice breeze even if it is raining outside
There is no propane used or needed by the van. Van was designed for off-grid, boon docking, but works equally well in a park with full hookups. We have had no problems with the van or the build out and have absolutely loved traveling in this van. Our longest trip in it was a fulltime 5 week trip throughout the northeast with temperatures below freezing at times
