Purpose-built for both summer and winter adventures, this 2014 Ram ProMaster 159” High Roof has 128,000 miles and a thoughtful, low-maintenance build. The living space is insulated with natural sheep’s wool (warm, moisture-buffering, low VOC), and heat comes from an Espar/Eberspächer gasoline air heater that keeps the cabin comfortable even in sub-zero conditions. Plumbing is routed inside the thermal envelope with heated water lines and a large interior fresh tank (60 gallons) to reduce freeze risk, so you can camp confidently when temperatures drop.
We used it for many ski trips. The layout is clean and functional. Custom CNC-milled cabinetry forms a durable galley and storage system, and the dinette table with two seats converts quickly into a lounge/sofa for off-grid evenings. In back, a truly large garage contains up to two mountain bikes, and there’s a dedicated ski pass-through so long gear stays secure and out of the way (up to 190cm skis). A 110V refrigerator runs off the electrical system.
Electrical is straightforward and robust: a Renogy 2000W pure-sine inverter powers standard AC loads, while charging is handled by a combined setup for alternator + solar (roof-mounted 200W). House power comes from Renogy AGM 200Ah batteries replaced ~April 2025, providing dependable capacity for cooking, devices, and lights. It’s an easy system to understand, expand, and service—ideal for owners who want capability without complexity. Gas stove is movable for easy outdoor cooking.
