SOLD ****2012 Nissan NV 2500 Hightop Camper -Low miles!!

*** SOLD*** The odometer currently has 72,278 miles on it (1-8-22). The van is still being used on small weekend trips so the total mileage may vary. The engine is a V6. These hightop Nissans are becoming hard to find. I have no doubts about the durability of this van/engine.  I would drive it across the country in a heartbeat.  Known for reliability this van has a long life ahead!   The van has no known mechanical issues. Inspected in Vermont until September 2022. When I purchased the van in March 2021 I had a shop do a buyers inspection with no issues found.   The van is insulated with havlock wool. Ceiling floors and walls. The van is outfitted with a 3kw diesel heater that will keep you toasty in the winter. Diesel heater pump has been placed in a pelican style case with foam to silence it. 10L Fuel tank is easily accessible at the back of the van.  This was important to me because the last thing I want is spilled diesel in the van.   The van comes with a dash camera. OEM backup camera in the review mirror. In the center console is an OEM inverter When you need to use a 120 volt outlet for items that use between 150 and 400 watts.   Electrical SOK 206ah lithium battery (Secure in a custom wood tray). A note about lithium batteries. You cannot charge them below freezing as it would damage the battery.  This battery has a built in BMS to prevent this from happening.  However it’s worth noting you will need to warm the battery up to charge in the winter. I do this with the diesel heater.  Some other options would be to get a gray water tank heater pad. If this poses an issue for you I would recommend swapping the battery for a lead acid one. (Happy to negotiate and swap a lead acid battery in if you so wish- This would allow charging when freezing temperatures are present).  It’s very quick to disconnect the battery,  So I often just disconnect it and bring it in my house to charge with the included Victron charger (IP65). I found the solar was super efficient this summer. For example the fridge could run for weeks and the panels would top the battery to 100% each day.   Renogy DS50 - Currently only connected to solar , It will accept an alternator charge if your need it. My thoughts were to not use the alternator to minimize wear on it. Two - 100w Renogy solar panels. Truck Fridge - TF-65  - Super efficient fridge, I find it draws very little power. Plenty of room for a weeks worth of food. Sirocco Fan - Mounted below the cabinets - A great way to move air in the van. Maxair Ceiling fan - Hand crank to open.  It has the option to pull air in or send it out of the van. Blue Sea 12v control panel-  12V charging, Accepts Usb or cigarette style charging. Blue sea 12v fusel block - This allows you to easily add any 12V devices. LED Ceiling puck lights. Efficient and warm lighting. Light switch dimmer above the sink. 150w AC inverter for small things like laptops. Battery monitor (Shunt style). (Mounted to the left of the fridge) The van also comes with a Victron blue ip65 for charging on shore power.  It could also be used to run the van on shore power as long as you don’t exceed 15amps. So it would be safe to run several things such as the fridge fans and heater while you are charging.   Surco stainless rear ladder. Allows easy access to the roof to gain access to the solar panels.   The van has been built out with Cedar tongue and groove boards. They have a polyethylene finish which adds protection and gives them a beautiful color.   The kitchen unit has been built with Baltic Birch and Cherry trim. (Happy to include a single burner propane stove with the van). The kitchen backsplash is made of stainless steel. Birch butcher block. I have only used food grade mineral oil on it.   The van comes with a faucet the runs on a 12v Shurflo pump. The kitchen unit houses a Scepter 5 gallon drinking water container,  It also houses a 5 gallon gray water container. Currently the system is winterized as it has been getting cold in VT! Custom upper cabinets made out of baltic birch and cherry trim. The cabins all have marine laches and gas struts. The entire floor has been covered with Pergo click in flooring. The van also has a baltic birch subfloor with wool insulation beneath. I currently have anti fatigue matts installed throughout the van.  This adds an additional layer of insulation and prevents you from stepping on a cold floor.   Van bed was built on Aluminum planks. The idea behind this was to save some weight and have a strong bed. Tempurpedic queen mattress - Length cut down to 75 Inches - Width remains normal. I’m 6’2”and the bed works perfect for me. I can also stand in the van without hitting my head (granted I only have an inch or so of space). Lots of storage in the van “Garage”. Led lights help with organization at night. Plenty of room for a lot of totes. Diesel heater duct could be removed in the summer months to maximize space. Weathertech Front and driver/passenger sun shade. I use this for privacy and insulation when sleeping at night. I originally used a curtain however I find this works much better. The rear windows also have reflectix window covers. The van has been averaging 15mpg on trips.       The bad - I don’t have much to list here. Being a previous business van it has some body dings here and there. The body is not perfect but it is fully functional. No major rust spots. The van came from Maine and the underside is good shape with some surface rust, The frame is solid.   The van comes with All Season Tires - Cooper HT3. The tires have some tread left. These are not the most ideal tires in the winter however I have not been stuck yet. If living in a place with lots of snow I think it would be wise to invest in winter tires.   Clean title in hand.
