This isn’t a mattress-in-a-van situation. This is a complete, thoughtfully built off-grid camper conversion that’s ready to roll.

This minivan looks normal. It is not normal.
Under that factory roofline (just kidding) lives a fully self-contained off-grid camper — one that was built to actually be used, not photographed. With 300 watts of tilting solar, 2,048 watt-hours of lithium power, a high-pressure shower with Kestrel quick-deploy tent, 10 gallons of water storage, a working sink with fresh gray water, and a 270-degree freestanding awning covering 129 square feet of outdoor space, this is a serious off-grid rig that fits in a regular parking space.
THE BASICS: 2006 Mazda MPV LX. 99,500 miles — less than 5,000 per year. Clean Texas title, paid off. Second owner. No accidents. No dents, just minor age-appropriate scratches. Texas its entire life, aside from two trips (Arizona and New Jersey).
POWER SYSTEM: The centerpiece of this build is a Bluetti AC200L — 2,048Wh of lithium capacity with a 2,000W inverter and a full output suite: 4 AC outlets, 10A 12V port, 30A DC out, 30A RV plug, two 100W USB-C PD ports, and a USB-A. A 30A Bluetti D40 DC breakout box feeds a 12V fuse panel for accessories. A 1,000W Renogy inverter mounted in the van charges the Bluetti via AC while driving. A 200A manual-reset circuit breaker sits at the battery. Three hundred watts of tilting solar on the roof can charge simultaneously with the driving inverter, recovering power faster between stops. Rear hatch has waterproof 15A shore power port. Mounted wireless phone/watch charger stand and rechargeable AAA/AA battery charger included.
SLEEPING AND LIVING: Folding sofa bed on 500 lb drawer slides. Five-inch memory foam cushions wrapped in professionally tailored Sunbrella fabric. Bed measures 75″ x 30″. Two Camfro Scirocco 12V fans for airflow. Puck lights throughout, switchable manually or by wireless remote. Rechargeable removable dimmable magnetic LED over the counter.
KITCHEN AND WATER: Removable sink box with tile countertop, waterproof AC power port, folding backsplash, and removable vessel sink bowl. Butcher block countertop. Fresh and gray water tanks. Ten gallons of total water storage. Microwave. App-controlled 20-quart 12V Bodega (freezer or refrigerator). Custom removable magnetic spice rack. Three drawer bins.
EXTERIOR SHOWER: Kestrel exterior shower tent with high-pressure water system and quick-connect hose.
OUTSIDE THE VAN: 4 Thule Aero Crossbars, OVS Nomadic 270-degree freestanding awning — six aluminum rafters, 600D poly-cotton ripstop cover, approximately 129 square feet of covered space. Thule Pulse Alpine locking cargo box on the roof, two medium gear boxes, wired for Starlink (with quick-connect junction box).
TIRES: Great tread remaining (FALKEN PRO G5 TOURING A/S P 215/65 R16 – rated for 60k miles).
SOLAR SETUP: The 300-watt solar array is designed to tilt upward so the owner can still access the Thule roof box and gear boxes, while also angling the panels toward the sun later in the day for better energy harvest. Wiring is routed through the rear hatch and taped/sealed rather than drilled through the roof.
WINDOWS: Premium nano ceramic tint on all windows, including the windshield—a major upgrade that helps block UV rays and significantly reduce interior heat (no bubbling or fading), custom-fit Covercraft windshield sunscreen, Weatherguard side window deflectors/rain guards allow fresh air circulation while keeping rain, snow, and wind out.
SAFETY: Smoke alarm. Propane/natural gas combo detector. CO2 alarm.
WHAT’S INCLUDED: Two car key remotes, owner’s manual, locking lug nuts, Covercraft folding windshield sunscreen, magnetic window screens for the sliding-door windows, two middle seats and the third-row seat (not currently installed). Rear cargo carrier not included.
Located in Houston, TX. No shipping. Transaction handled through KeySavvy.
