We have lived in this beautiful home on wheels full time since 5/15/2020 and are currently still in it while we wait for a buyer. We started new careers as remote workers and are moving into a box van for a little more space. Luna has been an incredible home and off-grid adventure rig!
We have followed VanLife Outfitters and in order to make this van as off-grid as possible we did three solid upgrades, and many others as well.
1-utilizing the van’s engine to install a secondary alternator from Nation’s to charge the house battery while we drive.
2-utilizing the van’s coolant lines to install an ISO-temp 5 gallon water heater that warms the house water while we drive.
3-utilizing the van’s fuel line to install a Webasto heater with thermostat to warm the van.
Chassis
