Promaster City 80/20 Build by Rock Solid Vans

Rock Solid Vans has designed the perfect weekend warrior build for the Promaster City. This design is packed with insulation, an off-grid electrical system, locking storage drawers, lighting, ceiling fan, and a 6’ by 58” sleeping area.

This build is framed with 80/20 extruded aluminum, making it ultra light and super strong. Moreover, it is bolted down to the floor of the van to mitigate squeaking and provide safety.

The drawers are designed for maximum storage. There are a total of four, one of which has a 500 lbs weight limit and extends quite far out the back of the van. All of the boxes are dovetailed.

The insulation is 3m thinsulate, alongside a reflective insulation, topped with a 1/4” foam. Spray foam fills the hard to reach spots, and the floor has a reflective insulation alongside board insulation with an R6 value.
