2018 Ford Transit 350 High Roof Extended Length RWD Gasoline Van

The van was built by me and my father, who is a finish carpenter and electrician that also does contractor work. I am 6’5” tall and still have about an inch, maybe two, above my head when standing in the van. I bought the van brand new and have been the only owner. Everything in the van was custom built and I waxed the exterior each Spring. I just had the oil changed and did the first rotation on the tires as well as changed the engine air filter.

– Brand new (<5k miles) Cooper Discoverer HT3 tires
– Bird’s eye view backup camera with predictive lines, which makes it an absolute breeze to park. Easy to parallel park in the city as well.
Electrical:
– 200ah Lithium battery with a built-in heater. The heater will kick on at 32F, and heat the battery up to 40F. It only draws 2 amp/hr while the heater is running. The battery also has built-in Bluetooth with app monitoring to easily see the output, input, and temperature of the battery
– Hard disconnects for the solar panels, the inverter, and the battery making it easy to turn off whichever part of the system you need to work on
– Standard 120v shore power external hook up on rear driver side
– Renogy Rover 40 amp MPPT charge controller
– 4, 100W Renogy solar panels
– 2 USB outlets as well as 8 standard outlets
– 6 LED lights in pairs of two, factory. LED under cabinet strip lighting, as well as the full length of the bed strip lighting above the cabinet doors. These LED strip lights can be turned on with normal white light, softer white, and a variety of colors as well as flashing sequences if desired. Factory LED lights are switch-operated, and LED strip lights are remote-controlled.
– Maxxair MaxxFan 5100k bi-directional fan
Water:
– 2, 6-gallon fresh water tanks
– Gusher Galley MK3 foot pump for hands-free water usage
– 3-gallon gray water tank
Kitchen Features:
– Hardwood butcher block countertops
– South American Lyptus (a hybrid of two eucalyptus species) hardwood cabinets
– All drawers have a bolt-locking mechanism
– 4 burner propane stove top
– Dometic CFX-50 fridge or freezer (46 liters). It is wired straight to the battery, but I kept the AC outlet cord. The fridge can be easily removed from the drawer it sits on and brought out of the van to plug into a standard AC outlet
– Corkboard above side sliding door to pin up notes and photos
– 18g stainless steel deep sink with drain food scrap basket and cover
Interior Features Cont.:
– One sliding/venting window on the driver’s side of the kitchen area and the same window is on the passenger side by the head of the bed
– Two, 2” thick custom-made blackout foam cushions for each window. One of the cushions is split into two, so you can cover half of each window and open the other half for ventilation
-Custom sewn curtain separating the driving area from the living area, and this one matches the curtain that covers the garage area when the back doors are open
– Nature’s Head composting toilet
– Passenger seat Scopema swivel
– Propex HS2000 propane heater with external fresh air intake and exhaust, giving it effectively 0% humidity output into the van
– 2 bookshelves on the passenger side wall. One close to the kitchen for added storage and one closer to the head of the bed. For size perspective, the shelves hold a mason jar perfectly
– Queen-size 8-inch foam mattress
– Hanging closet storage to fit many jackets and shirts as well as deep cabinets next to the bed. They go down about 10” below the height of the bed, so they look deceivingly smaller in photos
– Pocket door access beneath the bed from the living area to get into the garage
– 2 under-bed ski holders
– Can easily fit 2-3 bikes under the bed. As seen in the photo, my XL frame mountain bike fits.
I am happy to pass along many, if not all, of the items within the van like the drawer organizers and nonslip mats, homemade driving cushion (made from leftover foam and scrap materials from the curtains), rugs, chains for rear wheels, step stool for shorter people to get into the bed, etc.
** The van is registered in Washington State. I own it outright and have a clean title. Depending on the distance, I may be willing to drive the van to you if coming here to get it is not very feasible. I can share more photos too if you have anything specific you want to see in more detail.
