For sale is our beloved 2017 Ram Promaster 2500 high roof van that has been *mostly* converted for van life.
This van is perfect for camping in both remote nature and city settings.
Inside, you’ll find a professionally built out interior with cedar walls and ceiling, giving the van a warm and cozy feel. The walls are also equipped with 12V DC and 120V AC electrical sockets, providing all the comforts of home.
The ceiling features an array of LED puck lights that keep the van interior lit. The electrical system is run by a Victron 3000 watt inverter, three 100 amp hour Battle Born lithium batteries (less than 2 years old), an external Shore power hookup, and two Renogy 175 Watt 12 Volt Flexible Solar Panels, allowing you to easily go off the grid.
This is enough to go completely off the grid, with a refrigerator maintaining freezing temps, for two very cloudy days (the more sun = the longer it lasts!) If you can manage just regular fridge temps, we can get almost five completely off-grid days from 300 amp hours.
The bed frame fits a full size mattress, ensuring a comfortable night’s sleep on the road. The linoleum tile floor is durable and perfect for daily use of a van.
Two musicians owned this van, so stock audio in the cab of the van has been replaced with high-end JBL 6-inch speakers.
Additionally, the passenger seat has a Scopema Swivel installed, allowing full 180 degree rotation of the passenger.
This Promaster has had virtually zero problems while under current ownership, covering 42,000 miles. Last week, brand new tires were installed and an oil gasket and coolant hose were replaced, so it’s ready for its next adventure.
