History:
Originally In Service in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Converted in 2018, Remodeled and Improved Continually.
We are the 3rd Owners Since the Conversion.
My wife and I lived in the bus full time for over a year. The bus held up through a harsh North Dakota winter, where the forced air heater kept us toasty. Our first son was born that February, and he loved the bus life throughout the Spring, Summer and Fall of 2022. We then moved into a house and kept the bus as our “Guest House” since then. With the coming of our 3rd child this Fall, it’s clear that our Skoolie living days are over and we would love to see it go to a new family who would get more use out of it.
Living in it was a dream. I’m a General Contractor (and a Perfectionist!), so I was continually upgrading and making the bus more functional and bringing in all the “Comforts of Home” that could fit in the space. That included:
-Lots of PEX plumbing (and upgrading the fittings from plastic to copper)
-Upgrading the water pump and adding a pressure tank
-Adding “bypass” lines to conserve water by running it back into the tank while getting the shower and sink up to temperature
-Lots of interior “Beautification” projects (for the wife)
-Fine Trim and Painting
-Minor mechanical work as needed
