I am selling our one-of-a-kind custom expedition truck that was built to showcase the very best in overlanding equipment and technology. This truck pushes the design limits of your typical expedition trucks breaking traditional thinking. It is also perfect for international travel due to its simple and robust drivetrain and long-term capacities for living off-grid. It’s built on a 2021 Ford F-550 chassis and transformed into a no-compromise overland platform which combines Ford’s 7.3L Godzilla V8 and 10-speed automatic with a professionally executed build by Buckstop Truckware and Alum-Line, resulting in a fully self-sufficient, go-anywhere adventure system. Riding on a Liquid Springs-equipped super single setup with 41” Michelin X-Force tires, this truck is engineered to carry you deep into the backcountry without limits.

Unique design elements
Bring all your toys: This rig was designed around the ability to bring any toy you want. The beauty of the storage is that it’s inside the cabin which is safe, secure, and free from those dusty roads. You can fit two 15ft kayaks in one storage space with room to spare. We typically travel with an inflatable 12ft catamaran and 5HP outboard, Two mountain bikes, and two folding Oru kayaks. Even with this space we have room for other camping gear like chairs, lights, grills and a Blackstone.
Rooftop Deck: No truck builder in this class even considers a living space on the roof but this was a core design element for the vehicle. This truck not only has a roof deck it is built to enjoy with secure access only from the inside of the truck through dual boat hatch windows above each bed. This unique design uses the solar panel mounting system as the safety handrails. The creature comforts on the roof include; full coverage Sea-Deck which is lovely on the feet, dual hammock stands with umbrellas, 110v power for powering devices, weight bearing glass hatches, and full under railing LED lighting for night enjoyment. We have watched drive in movies, NASCAR races, and other sporting events from the deck.
Interior & Living Quarters: Inside, Alum-Line’s craftsmanship shines with a highly efficient, expedition-grade living space. We again pushed the design envelop inside with unique characteristics you won’t find in other vehicles. In the kitchen you have a 70 inch live edge wood slab counter with a Ruvati stainless steel sink and UV filtered drinking water. Undercounter has ample drawer storage but also contains dual 95L Dometic fridges which we typically use one as a freezer and the other for fresh foods.
Fixed wet baths are space consuming and are typically used a few times a day. Because of this we chose to build a quick convertible space instead. To do this we convert the entry way into a shower by opening the hidden shower pan in the floor, and hang the custom shower curtain from ceiling hooks and magnets hold it in the pan. After that the sink wand doubles as the shower head and you are ready. The Laveo dry flush toilet tucked neatly away in the cabinet under the sink and slides out into the same space when needed.
Unique to this truck is two dedicated queen XL sleeping spaces, one over the cab and one in the rear. Each sleeping space has dedicated storage, dedicated AC cooling, sound deadening wall padding, and glass roof access hatches. The rear sleeping space back wall drops down to create a massive extension of the space. This enables amazing stargazing and even has its own Fiamma awning for blocking the sun. This feature is truly amazing for bringing the outdoors inside and massive ventilation on beautiful days. Dedicated lighting and device charging make these spaces a wonderful place to relax.
Exterior Build & Utility: While many vehicles can be finished in Line-X but none are finished in Line-X bomb-blast. Buckstop bumpers and custom wide fenders integrate with a full Baja Designs lighting package, Fiamma awning, and massive rear gear tunnel create a platform equally suited for expedition travel and outdoor recreation.
Power & Capability: The Ford F-550 represents one of the most sought-after foundations in the expedition world, thanks to its modern electronics, stout frame, and globally serviceable drivetrain.
Powered by Ford’s 7.3L “Godzilla” V8 and paired with a 10-speed automatic and dual-range 4×4 system, this truck delivers proven, naturally aspirated reliability for remote travel. These are the same chasis trucks use for millions of miles of heavy towing and construction work. With a front OX locker, Liquid Springs True Earth leveling, dual onboard air systems, and a 22,000-lb ComeUp winch, it’s built to handle serious terrain while maintaining composure on long highway stretches.
