There is much more to cover- feel free to message me with any questions, or I’m happy to set up a call to go over everything.
This ambulance took us from New England to Vancouver and back, 11,000 across North America through all sorts of roads and weather. We worked 40+ hours a week comfortably from inside. We were always toasty warm, we always had power.
I moved to Montana and can’t store it here, so I’m selling it on the East Coast where it’s located. I put my heart and soul into this rig and I want it to go to someone who will love it and use it.
The Bad:
***This ambulance is not currently running. It needs a fuel injection pump.****
A shop has quoted me $3500 to replace the injection pump and get her back on the road. I’ve also spoken to a tech school who can do the work for $1400 (They will take several weeks at least to do the work though. A great option if you’re not pressed for time)
Please note: This needs a FUEL INJECTION PUMP. Not fuel injectors, not a lift pump. It’s a big job. If you’d like to research it yourself, search “7.3 IDI fuel injection pump”
Things you could do with this ambulance:
-Fix it and live the vanlife dream for less than $10k
-Tow it to your property and have a super cheap, four season capable tiny house/guest house
-Remove the box from the frame and mount it to a new truck
-Use it as a donor vehicle for your own van build. Everything you need all in one place, no need to run to the store or wait for orders to come in.
If you buy the ambulance, I will also include a tow of up to 100 miles for free. Tow it to my shop, your house/shop, wherever. Even with the repair, this is the absolute cheapest standing-height van out there.
