2024 Ford Transit T350 AWD – Professionally Built 4-Season Adventure Van
A thoughtfully designed, true four-season Ford Transit Trail T350 AWD camper van built for serious travel, extended adventures, and comfortable off-grid living.
This van was designed around quality, functionality, weight balance, storage, and long-term reliability. Particular attention was paid to the systems you don't want to compromise on in a camper van.
All electrical systems, climate-control systems, and exterior penetrations were professionally completed by Traveler Vans LLC. This includes the Victron electrical system, rooftop components, heating/cooling equipment, solar installation, and exterior connections—providing the peace of mind that critical systems were professionally installed rather than treated as DIY afterthoughts.
The build combines a powerful Victron lithium electrical system, gasoline/electric Aqua-Hot heating and hot water, rooftop Dometic A/C, solar, extensive storage, and a highly versatile modular sleeping/cargo area.

The van was constructed with year-round travel in mind and has no exposed external fresh-water tank.
SoundSkin insulation is installed throughout the floor, ceiling and walls, with Rockwool cavity fill for additional thermal and acoustic insulation.
Climate systems include:
- 12V rooftop Dometic A/C with remote
- Aqua-Hot hot-water and air-heating system
- Aqua-Hot can operate from electricity or gasoline
- MaxxAir Deluxe rooftop vent fan with remote

- 20A inlet for trickle charging while the van is in deep-sleep/storage mode

MODULAR SLEEPING & GEAR SYSTEM
One of the standout features of this build is the highly configurable rear sleeping and cargo area.
Configuration A – Maximum Gear Space
Each side bunk can serve as a 5'6" sleeping area while leaving the center aisle completely open for bicycles, outdoor equipment and other large gear.
Configuration B – Full-Size Bed
Two individual sliding platforms extend between the bunks to create a full-size bed. The center area underneath remains available for a folding bicycle or additional gear.
Insert panels can also be installed at each end of the lower area to create an integrated kennel space.
Configuration C – Single Sleeper + Gear
Close one slider to create a single sleeping area while leaving the remaining space available for equipment.
This system allows the van to transition from a gear hauler to a full sleeping setup without permanently sacrificing valuable cargo space.

Underneath is dedicated laptop/charger storage with a nearby power outlet, plus an overhead cabinet for maps and office supplies.
This makes the van particularly well suited for extended travel or working remotely from the road.
