All the creature comforts of home in a stylish van! The interior of this Ram Promaster 3500 was custom designed by a professional designer to capture the feel of a 70’s tour bus. It was constructed by the craftsmen (seriously, they are incredible) at Drifter Vans. This was our home for an extended trip that took us to 39 states, from Palm Springs to Key West, from Portland, ME to Portland, OR. Key features that we loved:
Starlink antenna array attached. If you have sky above you, you have high-speed internet! We could stream TV on two different laptops with no problem. It works even when the van is moving. Even in the middle of nowhere in the desert southwest, we were never lost
Air conditioning, ceiling fan, and heater keep the interior comfortable in any temperature
Bed with 5” pillowtop mattress extends for a king bed that comfortably allows two people to sleep either side to side or with feet facing the front of the van.
Bug walls for both the side and back entrances can be rolled down to keep the insects out while you enjoy a summer breeze
Enclosed shower lets you stay fresh on the road! A separate outdoor shower hose allows you to clean the sand and dirt off your feet after a day exploring. The 25-gallon tank supplies all the water you need.
Separatt toilet inside means no need to tiptoe out of the van in the middle of the night (unless you’re into that sort of thing)
Electric induction stove with two burners can be used both indoors and outdoors. It stores compactly under the sink. Or just use the microwave to heat up leftovers from the fridge!
12-volt battery runs everything and can be recharged by the solar panels, alternator, or 30-amp hookup!
Full hookups will get you recharged when you want to stay at an RV Park or campsite. 30-amp power, city water intake, and sewer connection. All hoses and attachments included
Awning is ideal for beating the heat on long summer days or staying dry in the rain
A roll-up movie screen is included. We hung this from hooks at the end of the bed to watch projected movies and TV before bed
Custom-built sliding door separates the cab from the living area, so there is privacy while sleeping
Plenty of storage in overhead cabinets and under the cushioned seats.
We are selling because we have returned to the real world (for now!) and won’t be using it as much as we used to. Buying this van was the best thing we ever did (including getting married…everyone does that!), and it won’t be the last van we buy from Drifter Vans.
