We are Apogee Fab, a small, full-custom builder in Seattle with a knack for creating beautiful and unique camper vans. This particular van was crafted over 1400 hours this spring to reflect some of our favorite design ideas, as well as to show off our handiwork. Typically our builds are crafted-to-suit for each individual client, but this stellar van is available to buy right now. It’s a rare opportunity to own an Apogee Fab build without the wait.
“But hold on–” you may be thinking, “you haven’t even mentioned the magic phrases yet.” Are you referring to ‘off grid’ and ‘four season’? Yes, this van does that too. “And why isn’t this van bristling with the all the usual black powder coated gee-gaws?” you ask. To that we say: anyone can layer-up $25K of overlanding kit on the outside of a van, but not every van owner wants or needs all that extra swagger. True beauty is on the inside, after all. Our specialty is the build itself, the quality and practicality of the interior, the refined experience of owning and traveling in the van. Of course we will gladly advise and assist with the further outfitting of the van to suit your needs. We handle the important bits, knowing our clients can be trusted to accessorize appropriately.

THE VEHICLE
– 2023 Ram Promaster 2500, 159WB high roof, ~1000mi
– Premium safety and driver assistance packages (Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping, Emergency Braking, etc)
– Factory rear door glass windows and polycarbonate side door window
– Factory seat swivels with upgraded leather driver and passenger seats
THE BUILD
– All Baltic birch walls, ceiling, and cabinetry
– Hydro-Tec marine plywood floor over 1” foam insulation
– Havelock Wool insulation in walls w/ butyl sound deadening treatment throughout
– Interior panels and cabinets hand-finished on all sides with water-based spar varnish
– Marmoleum top floor with hand-brushed aluminum trim
– Canvas-grade phenolic countertops, epoxy vacuum-laminated to plywood substrate
– Large folding counter extensions on both sides of the van
– Hand-brushed aluminum counter edging, backsplashes, and other trim
– Marine-grade hardware used throughout, including stainless steel continuous hinges
– Authentic Southco polished stainless drawer and door latches
– Stainless steel fasteners used throughout the build

– Vitrifrigo 115L stainless steel marine fridge w/freezer
– Ruvati ‘Vienna’ stainless workstation sink with folding faucet and soap dispenser
– Wood and custom phenolic drop-in cutting boards for the sink
– Isotemp 16L (4gal) marine water heater, uses engine heat or 120v electric to heat water
– 28 gallon fresh water tank with remote tank level gauge and large clean-out hatch
– 9 gallon gray water tank with remote dump valve
– Shurflo 3.0gpm water pump with accumulator
– Rear door Scandvik shower mixing valve and Aquor shower hose attachment
