Our friends at Sync Vans (syncvans.com) did this semi-custom build for us in 2023. This is their Atlas model. Check it out on their website for more information. This van took us near and far across the country over the past 2 years but our dog can no longer go on the road so we think it’s best to find the van a new home.

The Mercedes Sprinter is the 144 V6 Turbo Diesel 4×4. It is fully loaded and includes the Comfort package, the Premium Plus package and the Driver Convenience package so you can drive this van both comfortably and safely during your travels.

I am 6’3 and we did a lot of research before we settled for this van so that I could stand up and lay down with no issues and it delivered on both counts. It boasts a queen size motorized bed that converts to a day bed for lounging in the evenings. Flip the front captains chairs around and put the Lagun table up to enjoy dinner with friends. We purposely didn’t install a cooktop to preserve as much counter-space as possible and utilized a portable induction cooktop while on the road. The large Isotherm 85 drawer fridge and freezer were perfect for our needs as we toured the country. It is also fitted with a Guzzle Carbon Water Filtration system giving you clean water anytime, anywhere.

The interior led lighting is fully dimmable so that you can set the mood when out in nature.

Sync Vans uses a unique electrical setup that eliminates the problems that can come from traditional inverter setups. There is an integrated Goal Zero Yeti 3000 that handles all 110V needs while the 200amp Lithium battery handles all the 12v needs. There is 200watts of solar charging through the panels installed on the Backwoods Drifter Roof Rack and the Victron Solar System. She also has the auxiliary battery upgrade giving you more power available under the hood.

There is an outdoor shower teamed up with a 110v onboard water heater to help extend your time on the road. It is also fitted with a Dometic Cassette Toilet.

The onboard air compressor is great if your off road adventures include biking or adjusting tire pressures.

This van is fitted out for extended time on the road with ample onboard storage options. Overhead cabinets, a good size underfloor garage, as well as two Backwoods read door storage boxes give plenty of storage places for your tools, toys and other stuff.
