The van was custom built by Interstate Vans in Massachusetts who I connected with through this site. I have photos of the empty van all through the build if you're interested. So much was considered in the build and it’s worked really well. It’s like a luxury studio apartment on wheels. I love the reaction when opening the door of this nondescript van, folks are blown away! It’s served me well but I’m going to be downsizing to a more overland focused rig. I hope the next person(s) can enjoy it as much as I have. The miles are mainly highway as I’ve traveled to all the lower 48 states, some twice. I’ve used it in temps ranging from -20 in Big Sky Montana to over 100 degrees in Anza Borrego state park in California. It’s cozy and dry in the cold and bearable in the extreme heat. With the skylight open and the fan on you get a wonderful cross breeze. It does ok in the snow as I’ve also hit basically every Ikon pass destination, It’s the ultimate ski cabin. It also does really well on forest service roads. It can venture most places one would sensibly drive something of this size and weight. The van is super stealth. I’ve parked downtown in most every major city, at hotels, construction sites, on side streets, and have never gotten a knock. Vans are getting more and more ubiquitous but most people still think this is some type of work van, or the FBI. I’m sure I’m missing something so please reach out with any questions I’d be happy to chat.

*similarly I put extended/long because it’s not short but it’s a long wheelbase (159”) non-extend van (19.8’ long)
