2021 Mercedes Sprinter 4X4

Van was upfitted into a camper by Compass Vans in Carlsbad, CA. The build isn’t an elaborate one with a million bells and whistles, rather a very functional, practical and highest quality build for weekends or longer trips; not to live in. It has a state of the art Victron electrical system with 4 lithium batteries, shore power outlet, a 20 gallon water tank with a splash down shower off the back, interior ceiling lcd lights, reading lights above bed, and so on. The cabin is lined with squeak-free (unlike wood paneling) fabric and well insulated with sheep’s wool. The galley has a sink with folding faucet and glass lid for more counter space when not using, refrigerator with freezer, two storage cabinets, and a removable dining table and corkscrew (little joke). The components used for the build are from RB Components. I’ve listed the original literature from Mercedes, but here are a few important options: we picked” 11” LCD screen and best option electronics (added excellent speakers and an amplifier) with 360 degree camera for parking, swivel seats, cruise control with active distance assist distronic, and so on. The wheelbase is 144” and has a high roof. My wife and I feel that we nailed the design with everything we need and nothing we don’t. The aesthetic is modern and clean. We have taken only two trips up the coast and regret selling it, but we want to move to Portugal.
