2021 Mercedes Sprinter 170 4X4 3500XD in stone grey – ready for build-out!

Hey Vanlifers – here’s an opportunity to own and build out a custom 170 length 3500XD diesel 4X4 in the popular stone grey color with only 2,600 miles while avoiding the $10,000-$15,000 “market adjustment” that a dealer will charge. I’ve added some of the basics when it comes to building out a van and the rest is a blank slate for you.

When it comes to options, this van has them all:

• Premium plus package (10.25 touch screen, free map updates for three years, upgraded sound system)
• Backup camera
• Heated leatherette swivel seats
• Exterior lighting package (LED lights, cornering fog lamps)
• 270 degree rear doors
• Adaptive cruise control (Distronic) and blind spot assist
• Wood floor with 6 D-ring tie downs
• 7500lb rated towing capacity (for all those toys you need to haul)
• Side mounted L-tracks and side wall panels
• Roof rails
• Mud/snow tires
• Interior LED lighting with harness inside the van
• Electronic closing assist for the side doors

This van also has double sliding doors that are very rare which we ordered to give us the most flexibility when it comes to hauling family, cargo, or accommodating left hand or right hand camping spots. Rolled up at the beach and want to take it in? Two sliders bring the outside in.

We also pre-paid for 4 maintenances (we haven’t used any) and an extra 5yr/100,000mi warranty. Both are fully transferrable.

I worked with VanCo of Northern California to install the following updates to the van:

• Windows in both side doors with screened openings (the opening portions of the windows can be locked)
• Side rails by Roambuilt
• Two MaxxAir fans
• Second battery, bracket, and additional wiring for the two fans
• OEM seat rails that can accommodate two bench seats (we only have one bench seat that is being sold with the van)
