We love “ClifFORD the big red van”, but we’re coming to the grips with the fact that our kids’ sports schedules don’t allow us to use it enough. But, it is a great van.
It is a Transit, 350 High Roof, Long, 148 inch wheel base. Dual batteries (70-AMP-HR).
The van has the Adventure Prep Package from Ford factory installed, and then Adventure Wagon installed the conversion package.
It seats four and can sleep four (a bit more comfortably with kids, than four fully-grown adults). We took a trip through BC last year with 2 adults, 2 kids, a dog, four bikes, a SUP and lots more and had a blast.
The back seat is a SmartSeat FASP 509 Sleeper Bench that seats 2 and can fold down to sleep two. The seat can also lock into different places in the floor, so you can move it forward or backwards as needed.
We have an Adventure Wagon MOAB bed in the back where you can easily adjust the height of the bed. We have it set up so that we can put bikes (and other things) underneath the bed.
There is inset lighting throughout the van.
There are lots of little storage spaces in the van and with L-track installed throughout makes it easy to add more. It has two Adventure Wagon Mule bags.
The van doesn’t have a built in kitchen or bathroom which honestly just never bothered us much, but you should be aware.
It is AWD, has 3.5L EcoBoost V6, extended length running boards, both front seats can turn fully around, has air conditioning, interior lighting installed by Adventure Wagon. Happy to answer any questions.
