The best all-season, off-road adventure van is the Storyteller Overland “Mode”. This 2020 Mode Classic is an after-market Beast with over $30k in quality after-market upgrades. Low-miles: only 23,200.

My wife and I are selling our beloved “Manatee” because we just bought the last and final model year (2023) of the true 4×4 Mercedes Sprinter: they’re now only producing AWD. Compare ours with a new “Beast” at $224k with AWD only.

Our extensive off-road upgrades add clearance, tougher suspension, the best tires, self-recovery options, expanded range and storage, and other premium interiors. I have the CA title.

Storyteller is known for the patented “Groove Lounge” providing 2 extra seat belts, a setup for dining and entertaining, as well as folding out for a 2nd bed.
