2020 Sprinter 4×4: 2500

2020 Freightliner 2500 Sprinter 4×4 camper/conversion awaits your next adventure! It is clean and nearly new with a streamlined design ready for off-road and winter use. The van was converted by The Mountain Standard in Scappoose, Oregon (a team that split off from Outside Van so the build is very similar) on a 170 inch wheelbase (but not extended). This van has the Freightliner emblem but was built by Mercedes and is identical to the Mercedes Sprinter.

It has the much-desired Mercedes diesel engine known for its longevity (3.0-liter turbo V6 engine: 188 horsepower, 325 lb-ft of torque), a towing capacity of 5,000 lbs, 7 speed automatic transmission and 4WD. Inside there are 4 full seats with seatbelts, insulated walls and floor, cabin heater that runs off of the diesel tank, and an electric hot water heater that complements the 20 Gallon fresh water tank. 

The cabin electrical is mostly victron with a large refrigerator, induction burner, hot water heater, and electric pump for hot and cold water at both the sink and the rear outdoor shower. All appliances can run off of shore power, the 2 solar panels, or the 2 cabin lithium batteries.

What we like best about the van: it’s a smooth ride, lots of power going up hill, a large windshield for viewing scenery, and both the side sliding and rear doors are unobstructed for easy loading of bikes and kayaks. Everyone we meet loves the wrap of Mt Hood on the sides! We are sorry to sell it but are downsizing for a new living situation.
