This is our fifth van build. Throughout the years we have refined and perfected what works for us in a van. This van was built with the goal of everything from weekend getaways to open ended off grid living. We have spent up to two months living in this van without resupply. Combined with that goal, we also made an effort to keep this van as light as possible, while maintaining strength and durability. This means we moved to all aluminum framing, while upgrading fastener sizes. We build vans for us, not as a business, so we don’t spare any expense when building, or cut corners on materials. We get exactly what we want, since we will be using the vehicle first. Having walked through (and owned) vans made by some of the big name upfitters, I can say that this is not the standard approach. Our backgrounds are in mechanical engineering, and Tahoe custom home construction, so we didn’t learn how to do conversions on YouTube. This van has served us flawlessly for four years, but we are transitioning to life on a sailboat, so land based vehicles need to go. There are many more years of good adventuring left in this one, and we hope it goes to a good home.

Van is a 2020 Mercedes sprinter 2500 4×4, bought new from the Reno dealership. 5 year/ 100k warranty transferrable.
