2020 4×4 Sprinter 144: High Roof, Flexible Adventure Van

(Converted Passenger Van: 2500 – 3L V6 Diesel)

This van was custom built by the professionals at Gearbox Adventure Campervans for all types of trips and activities: Hauling bikes and other toys, accessing off-grid locations, camping, and more. It seats up to 6 (all added seats DOT/FMVSS/CMVSS 207 approved) and sleeps up to 4 (+ 1 small person/dog). The Adventure Wagon interior system gives an incredible amount of flexibility, modularity, storage, clever solutions and the option to continue modifications, this may be your ideal van.

Flexible Seating and Sleeping:

· Mercedes Benz driver and passenger heated seats on swivels by Alpine Mechanisms

· Mercedes Benz OEM 3 person reclining bench in black leatherette (removeable) with ISOFIX-latches

· Scopema Altair Two-Seater 3P Seat Bed in black leatherette to match driver and passenger seats (this is one of our favorite up-grades to the van), it opens up the interior while also providing an extra bed/chaise lounge. Seat has 3-point safety belts, ISOFIX-latches, 3D mattress overlay, adjustable headrests and arm rests. We imported this seat because of its safety and ability to be used as a bed or crib (with the addition of a baby-gate see pictures below)

· VanEquipped SafeTrack Taxi Seat in black leatherette with dual adjustable armrests. Fully reclining, ISOFIX-latches and removable armrests. This seat folds down in half revealing dual cup holders on the back and can act as a small table (removeable using VanEquipped SafeTrack single seat bracket – highly sought after)

· Adventure Wagon MOAB (Mother Of All Beds) queen sized platform bed system in Bamboo. The adjustable sleeping height bed can be raised/lowered/removed in less than 10minutes

· Roam Rest Mattress upgrade so you can sleep comfortably after a long day on the trails

· The bed system comes in three sections and the mattress can be folded or zipped apart in three sections to easily stack extra room

· With the ability of sleeping 2 Adults in the queen bed, 1 Adult or 2 small children in the seat-bed and even sleep 1-2 on a mattress on the floor, the whole family can enjoy a comfortable bed in their own space

Flexible Kitchen, Storage and Garage:

· Removable kitchen galley (powder coated aluminum frame) with Baltic Birch high pressure laminate paneling

· Torva sink, extra-long extendable spray faucet, water storage on quick release, electric water pump (on switch), waste disposal pipe (can easily add extension and gray tank) and built in butchers block cutting board and draining insert. Quick release 5-gallon jerry cans (x 2) easily filled at Glacier Stations/Whole Foods

· Adventure Wagon Mule Bags (1 Double Mule and 1 Mini Mule in grey). These bags are awesome for storing clothes, packing cubes, gear and anything you need with the pull of a zipper (mounted to l-track on driver side but can easily be moved)

· Adventure Wagon L-Track and Mounting Solutions: with l-track throughout the vehicle and l-track mounts there are infinite number of options to store, hang and even tie down your gear. There are a ton of great options to purchase online such as l-track paper towel dispenser, l-track coat hooks, l-track cup holders, l-track shelfs and l-track fork mounts for the l-track in the floor to hold your bikes 

Exterior Mods:

· Owl Vans Ladder and Tire Carrier mounted to the driver side rear door. Currently a full spare with Black Rhino Armory Wheel and Toyo Open Country AT3 Tire and Trasharoo in Black (great for hauling firewood, wet clothes or trash)

· Black Rhino Armory Wheels in Gun Metal Black (X5)

· Toyo Open Country AT3 Tires (X5)

· Apex Rapid Deflate Valves (X5) from Agile Off Road with new TPMS Sensors. The Apex valves let you air down your tires from 50psi to 20 psi in 6 seconds

· Also have the Mercedes Benz Alloy Wheels with Toyo Open Country AT3 Tires and TPMS sensors (X5) if preferred

· Agile Off Road X ARB Twin Jet air compressor mounted under the hood with braided stainless-steel line leading to air chucks mounted front and rear. Controlled by factory Mercedes Benz switch in dash for an OEM appearance

· Front Runner Roof Rack with Renogy 200w Solar Panels (x2)

· WeBoost Overlander to extend your cell signal/coverage. The WeBoost antenna can be deployed in 5 different positions and multiplies your cell phone reception (X17 strongest allowed by the FAA). Easily turn on the WeBoost, which is hard wired to the house batteries, with the flick of a 3D printed switch on the wall (professionally installed by DES Wilmington)

· Custom topographical vinyl-wrap on hood to protect from rock chips and look sweet

· Aluminess Side Ladder on driver side of the van with the WeBoost mounted on the roof rack directly in front of the ladder for ease of use

· VanSpeed Defender Bumper with 9” Baja style rally lights (X2) in amber

· Van Compass Hoodline Light Pod Mount with 5” Baja style rally lights (X2) in amber

· *Baja style rally lights have been professionally installed by DES of Wilmington using a factory Mercedes Benz switch in the dash for OEM appearance

Interior Mods:

· Mercedes Benz windows all around (360 degrees) so you don’t miss out on those amazing views. Makes driving and switching lanes much easier/safer and helps with those who get car-sick 

· CR-Lawrence T-Vent awning window swap in the driver’s side rear. This window is great for pulling fresh air in over the bed using the Maxx Air Fan and can be opened and used in the rain

· Quest Overland insulated/black-out window covers for all windows, windshield and MaxxAir Fan. These covers use magnets to stay in place and are great for temperature control/privacy. Special window cover for CRL window that allows for use of t-vent

· MaxxAir Roof Fan 7500 Deluxe (Smoke/Black) with Remote installed above the rear passenger bench seats. This fan can pull air in or push air out of the van, can be used in the rain and has 10 speeds each direction

· Vancillary headliner shelf above driver and passenger seats (great place to store window covers and more)

· Van Essential bug screen for slider and bug screen/black-out wall for rear doors with custom orange reflective paracord zipper pulls

· Iceco 75DZ refrigerator/freezer on a slide. Easy access to all of your refrigerated/freezer products in this 75liter unit with the dual zones (both zones’ temperatures can be controlled independently of the other). The whole unit slides out the back door with the switch of a lever (can run off DC or AC – will provide both power cords)

· Lonseal Loincoin 2 Flecks Topseal marine flooring. Enjoy having a floor that you need not worry about! Lonseal “Coin-Dot” (Sapphire Speck) atop a well-insulated subfloor means this floor holds up to the abuse of road trips/gear thrown in and looks good doing it 

· Eberspächer S3 D2L heater with the Easy Start Pro Controller and updated with the new high-altitude kit (up to 13K feet) installed under the passenger seat by DES of Wilmington. This is one of those mods that once you have slept in a van with one, you will never want to sleep in a van without one. The heater is tapped into the diesel tank of the van and has a very low fuel and electricity draw. Set your desired temperature and how long you want it to run

· Dimmable LED Puck lighting in main cabin and in cargo area (multiple separate switches)

We are expanding our family and unfortunately wife says it is time for a 170. This van has treated us extremely well and we have made many special memories in it that we would not have been able to without. The van was only serviced at MB dealerships and received an oil/filter change, fuel filter service with MB here in Wilmington, NC in May. This is a rock solid 144 with the V6 diesel and 4X4 which is a winning combination!
