When I was looking, I specifically wanted this configuration. 4x4: If you have any ambitions of venturing off of paved roads, this is a must. These vans are big, and 4x4 is a must for loose surfaces and provides huge piece of mind, which may be worth it alone. High Roof: Self explanatory, but after having other vans before this and being 6'1, I can't put into words how much of a game changer it is to not be hunched over in a van. 144" WB: After having driven friends vans that were 170" WB, I'm super happy having gone 144. What you trade in space, you gain in maneuverability. Being able to park in any standard parking space is huge. Also not just driving around town, but maneuvering off-road is much easier with a shorter van. Lofted bed: To me this is just the most efficient use of space. There is SO MUCH room for storage under the bed. And being able to mount a bike vertical, inside the van, makes it not only less likely to be stolen but also is an efficient use of storage.
